Flatfoot

Flatfoot is an orthopedic disease characterized by a change in the shape of the arches of the feet, which is accompanied by a loss of shock-absorbing function. Mild and moderate flatfoot can be treated conservatively: it is necessary for patients to constantly wear orthopedic shoes and insoles in combination with physiotherapy, exercise therapy, therapeutic exercise and massage. In the absence of treatment, the deformation of the foot will only worsen, which can lead to serious health problems: constant pain in the legs, knees and back; the development of hallux valgus; the development of hallux valgus deformity. Kinesiotherapy helps to relieve pain without taking medications, strengthen the muscles of the foot, improve their tone and elasticity of the ligaments and increase the shock-absorbing function of the foot.
